This photo was taken on Lake Superior, near the mouth of the White River.

We'd been on a trip down the river and were working our way back to Hatties Cove where we'd left a car.

The photo was taken in the shelter of an island. Once we got back out into the lake, we didn't have much opportunity to pay attention to the sleeping Brendan as the paddling was a little rough. When we got to the cove, Brendan was still sleeping. After we took his soother out, he had a little sunburn around his face except around the soother, which gave him a very comical smile.
