Moon setting on a winter morning

As the sunrises in the east, the glow from the horizon produces a subtle blue light on the trees as the sky is reflected on the snow. The very cold temperature this morning maintains the previous day's evaporation as a fine mist of crystals suspended near the ground. This mutes the light from the full moon which is setting as the sun rises.
