Tips for Trippers

If you're travelling in thick mosquito country, you may not want to brave going outside during the night for a toilet break. You can avoid this problem by keeping a large mouthed jar in the tent. An old used and cleaned peanut butter jar works very well. After using the jar, just close the lid and undo the tent zipper just enough to set the jar outside where it won't tip over. You can take care of the contents in the morning after you've had a chance to dress for the biting bugs.
