Top Left: Pronghorn Antelope - a unique resident of the badlands with tremendous eyesight and hearing. A very hardy animal that seems able to eke out a living in a terrain all others find inhospitable. Top Right: One of the panoramic over views to be found along the rim road in the north section of Badlands National Park in South Dakota. Bottom Left: We brought along some mountain bikes to travel to some of the more remote locations. We encountered a problem that we hadn't considered - Cactus needles. We had to replace all our tires when we got back as they continued to get flat after we got home because they were filled with small needles that continued to cause flats. Bottom Right: Hoodoos along the Milk River Canyon in southern Alberta. |
